1 December 2010

The E-Reach project is to create Jobs Australia's first online learning platform, with view to develop the TAE40110 course into a blended delivery model which includes two units with e-learning content.  LMS (Learning Management System) is new to most members within the team, and we have many challenges ahead and we are looking forward to meeting them.

In our first round of training with E-Works we learnt some very useful foundation skills around planning, planning and more planning - the most crucial stage in LMS design. The E-Reach team drilled down and clarified who our targeted learners are, their learning characteristics, and the benefit of e-learning to them. We spent the afternoon discussing the applications used in e-learning and its potential applications in the future. The opportunities are endless!

Over the next few days we intend to continue these discussions, capturing information within the context of  our two units of TAE through storyboarding.
